SANDS (the Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Charity) holds a special place in the heart of myself and my family. In fact its amazing how many families have been touched by this charity and its work.
Claire Willis from Something About Clairey is running a great raffle in aid of SANDS in memory of Mia, her cousins daughter who was sadly born asleep. She has managed to get together a fabulous list of prizes including a 2 night break at a luxury Lake District hotel worth almost £500 and an Anfield Stadium and Museum tour! And thats just the start, the list of prizes goes on and on!
The raffle will end on 17th June and tickets are available now from www.somethingaboutclairey.co.uk/raffle/ for just £1 each in blocks of 5. You will also find a full list of prizes here.
SANDS works to support anyone affected by the death of a baby, offering care and services to bereaved families. It also supports research into the causes of infant deaths, and also promotes changes in practice which could help reduce the number of stillbirths and early deaths, which stands at almost 1 in every 100 births in the UK. Please dig deep and spare a few pounds for this great cause.
